Our venture portfolio includes entrepreneur graduates that are becoming not only business leaders and employers, but are dedicated community members, organizers, and activists. At Collab, we care about our impact on both improved chances of venture success and personal, more holistic impact on the individual entrepreneur.

Havenly | Cohort 3
Havenly is community cafe that builds community power of refugee and immigrant women through job training, political education, and community organizing.
The Havenly Fellowship is a 6-month paid training program for the cafe space that builds community and cultivates the individual and collective leadership of refugee and immigrant women.
Threads By Tea | Cohort 4
Threads by Tea is a bespoke wearable, handcrafted clothing line and venture with the intention to empower and inspire.
Founded by Tea Montgomery, Threads By Tea is increasing in demand and popularity. Recently, they opened a design studio and were one of the recipients of the ConnCORP Economic Justice Fund.
Nestl | Cohort 4
Nestl is a design startup dedicated to building products that make workplaces and public spaces more equitable.
Included in their product line are lactation stations, hand washing stations, and more to come.
Je T’aime | Food Business Cohort 3
Je T’aime is an artisanal cupcakes and cocktails startup. Their recipes are passed down from generation to generation, and are a popular favorite for many events.
Currently they frequently sell out catering and vending, with plans to grow.
Vegan Ahava | Food Business Cohort 1
Vegan Ahava is a popular vegan food truck and retail space located in Downtown New Haven.
With their popular and delicious food, their venture swiftly grew from a catering business to a food truck to a retail storefront. Poreyah, their Founder, is a role model and inspiration for many aspiring food truck owners in New Haven.
